Job Description

System Architecture Design: Design the overall architecture and structure of software applications and systems based on the .NET framework. Define system components, modules, and interfaces to ensure scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.

Technology Evaluation and Selection: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks within the .NET ecosystem. Assess the suitability of new technologies and their integration with existing systems.

Solution Development: Lead the development and implementation of .NET-based solutions. Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams. Review and approve the design and code developed by the team.

Performance and Scalability: Optimize system performance and scalability by employing best practices and architectural patterns. Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Security and Compliance: Define and enforce security standards, policies, and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Integration and Interoperability: Design and implement integration solutions, including APIs, web services, and messaging systems, to enable interoperability between different systems and components.

Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and developers, to gather requirements, define architectural solutions, and provide technical guidance. Mentor and guide junior developers and architects.

Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, design specifications, and guidelines. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is often preferred. Additional certifications in .NET technologies or software architecture (such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are beneficial.

.NET Development Experience: Extensive experience in software development using the .NET framework and related technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks. Strong knowledge of .NET architecture, patterns, and best practices.

Architecture and Design Skills: Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software architectures. Familiarity with architectural patterns, such as microservices, SOA, or event-driven architecture. Proficiency in UML and other modeling techniques.

Cloud and Distributed Systems: Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Knowledge of distributed systems, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Database and Data Access: Proficiency in designing and optimizing database schemas, SQL queries, and data access layers using technologies like Entity Framework or ADO.NET.

Security and Compliance: Understanding of security principles, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Familiarity with security frameworks, such as OAuth, JWT, or SAML.
